By default, Clockpunch will automatically open the time entry screen when you add a project entry to a time card. To turn this off:

Archive Old Time Cards
By default, Clockpunch attempts to keep your primary list of time cards short and easy to navigate by only displaying the five most-recent time cards. You can change how many cards are displayed by default. To do so:
- Open Settings and tap Clockpunch.
- Tap the row labeled When I Have More Than.
- Select a number from the list.
Dropbox
By default, Clockpunch stores all of the items you export to Dropbox in a folder named Clockpunch. If this folder doesn’t exist, Clockpunch will create it. You can change where Clockpunch stores its exported data. To do so:
- Open Settings and tap Clockpunch.
- Tap the row labeled Upload Path.
- Change the upload path to whatever you want.
Q&A
Clockpunch tells me that “a project with this name already exists” when I try to create a new project, but I don’t see one in the project list with that name.
Be sure to check the inactive projects list to ensure you do not have a pre-existing project that has been deactivated. To do so:
- Open Clockpunch, and tap the Projects tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list, and tap the row labeled Inactive Projects.
- Scroll through the inactive projects list to see if the project you want to create already exists.
To activate a deactivated project:
- From the Inactive Projects screen, tap the Edit button.
- Find the project you want to activate, and tap the blue button on the right side of its row.
- Tap the row labeled Active?, and select Yes.
